Research On Results Optimizing Technology Of Meta Search Engine Based On Agent

With the improving of society, information becomes a kind of more and more important and indispensable resource for economics, technology and other fields. But because of the explosive increase of network information and the intrinsic characters of Internet such as boundlessness, dynamic and diversity, it is more difficult for people to look up the information that they need. The occurrence of the web search engine overcomes this problem in some degree. However because different search engines use different algorithms and scope, the repetition of search results for the same query is no more than 34%. If wish to get relatively full-scale, accurate search results, multi-search engines should be used, so in this background Meta Search Engine occurs, which comes forth the development of the search engine.Meta Search Engine is one type of search tool, which realizes its search functions by invoking other search engines. Generally a Meta Search Engine comprises search query referring part, search interface part and search results displaying part. Contrasting with Single Search Engine, Meta Search Engine haven't it's own database and have no need to collect or store webpage, so it can pay more attention to the selection of Single Search Engine and the optimization of search queries and results.Through a uniform interface, Meta Search Engine help users select appropriate Single Search Engine, then arrange the search results, at last offer the results to users. Meta Search Engine'abilities of locating and collecting has been improved, but the number of results is too large to users find the information that they really need. In order to solve the problem, this paper presents the results optimizes technology of Meta Search Engine based on Agent.Agent is an entity that can change with independent and continuous and can communicate with environment. With emergence of Agent, some problems including information overloading, information interfering and information block can be resolved. Through the gradual study, Agent can realize user's interesting and constitute interests model, with witch to filtrate and arrange the search results, therefore users will be more satisfied with the results. In this paper we first discuss how to set up and real time update the interests model, then focus on how to use the interests model to optimize the search results.
