Computer vision plays an important role in industry production and scienceresearch. Applications of the technology are mainly used in measurement fields, suchas control of quality and data acquisition, sports system simulation etc. Thetechnology of computer vision which works in a non-contacted way is much betterthan the traditional one, and has replaced it in some fields. An assistant training system appllied in eurythmics field is designed for athletepose tracking. The system uses multi-cameras to record the status information of theathlete who acts rotation motion, and saves it as AVI format files in computer. Afterthat, the BMP images that are acquired from AVI files on the same time are analyzed. Then the 3-D parameters of the pose of athlete can be deduced through 3-D rebuild. The system is better than traditional contacted means because the athlete does nothave any restriction when exercising with the system. The main works in this dissertation can be summarized as follows: 1.Applications of the technology of image processing and computer vision are introduced. The storage formats and pre-procession of the digital image are explained and The means to identify a circle from an image are dicussed. 2.The principle of stereovision and theory of 3-D rebuild is discussed including camera model and camera calibration. The means that are used to reduce errors and perform object match are summarized. 3.For eurhythmics primary rotation training, an athlete rotation pose tracking system is designed. A tracking method based on spheriform indentified point tracking is put forward. Because the shape of it is circular and does not change with the rotation of the athlete, rotundity analyse is enough. The system can track the pose of the athlete above his waist and compute the positions of the important identified points attached on the athlete. 4.The experiment scheme is designed and simulated codes are programmed. The result shows the validity and feasibility of the programs, that can recur the status of the athlete rotation. So the purpose of assistant training is reached.
