| The thesis discusses the state of application, development and research of the remote digital video monitoring system and the technologies of image processing and recognition; design and develop position recognition of two types of switch.The thesis discusses the image pretreatment methods of image grayness, grayness transform, image smoothness, image sharpness and image binarization; research and analyzes the methods of the image recognition. According to the characters of the equipment switch, brings forward a new detection method of grayness mutation line; according to the characters of the broken switch, brings forward a new detection method of the outline slope.The Visual C++ and CamImage widget of Axis Company are used in the system software developing. The results of many experiments in different conditions prove the image recognition accuracy rate has reached 98%.
