The Research Of Warehouse Management System Oriented Automated Storage And Retrieval System

Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) is the outcome of modern logistics,computer and automatic control techniques. Recently, it is a newly warehouse establishment fast-developed in the world. Warehouse Management System (WMS) is the application software system used to manage the staff, storage, working hours, orders and equipments of a warehouse. The WMS oriented AS/RS has all of the performance what a common WMS has, what's more it can instruct device to perform the in-warehouse /ex-warehouse task automatically. The major problem of the WMS oriented AS/RS was researched and analyzed in this paper. The WMS researched in this paper is a distributed network system based on C/S structure. In order to achieve system's flexibility and database's security, the module of the qualification management is designed by author, it includes dynamic menu and operation authorization management. During the management of freight space and goods, the data model of freight space, goods and storage is designed by using PowerDesigner8.0.the data model can express clearly the relationship between freight space, goods and storage. In addition, the goods classification with tree structure is realized by using the self-recursion technique in the model. In the in-warehouse/ ex-warehouse management, the implement method of the in-warehouse and ex-warehouse strategy and the assignment of freight space and the algorithm of auto-even ex-warehouse are put forward by author. During doing task scheduling, the system can analyze the status of device and do instruction explaining for task. Thus in-warehouse/ex-warehouse task is scheduled reasonably. The task processing under exceptional situation can be done in the task management based on task status and PRI. Furthermore, in the system the database performance is optimized and the speed of data processing is improved by using the horizontal and vertical division technique. The efficiency, veracity and security of in-warehouse/ex-warehouse task are represented in the used system.
