At present, the logistics in China is still in its early stage, a few study and applications of Logistics Information System (LIS) have been reported. In view of the recent development of LIS at home and abroad, this paper suggested a solution to information system of the third-part logistics that has been analyzed at length , and a practical application system are also presented in detail, and some practical problems are solved. This paper begins with the introduction of the concept of logistics, and then analyzes the developing trend of modern logistics and its constructing techniques. The advanced logistics information systems developed both in China and outside China are examined sketchily as well. The emphasis is, however, put upon the analysis of the solution and the objectives of the design, the techniques of general and detailed design of the system. The Terminal Server supporting to three-layer c/s structure of the Microsoft is applied in the construction of the system. The Terminal Server can make the numerous customer to register the server togather, and just like working on the server at the same time . Furthermore, some practical problems are solved. In the paper, the four-level security authentication mode is designed and the system permission is provided according to the priority of operators. The paper also proposed a series of optimization connected with the operations of the enterprise, which involves storehouse operation optimizing, load...
