At present, the logistics in China is still in its early stage, a few study and applications of Logistics Information System (US) have been reported. In view of the recent development ofUS at home and abroad, this paper suggested a solution to information system of thethird-part logistics that has been analyzed at length, and a practical application systemHANKYU developed for Japanese user are also presented in detail. This paper begins with the introduction of the concept of logistics, and then analyzes the developing trend of modem logistics and its constructing techniques. The advanced logistics information system developed both in China and outside China are examined sketchily as well. The emphasis is, however, put upon the analysis of the solution and the objectives of the design, the techniques of general and detailed design of the system, as well as the realization techniques of HANKYU system. The Terminal Server supporting to three-layer c/s structure of the Microsoft is applied in the construction of the system. Furthermore, the source control actualized in the application program gives a solution to the deadlock problem that tend appeared in the transaction commitment. In this paper, the four-level security authentication mode is designed and the system permission is provided according to the priority of operators. The paper also proposed a series of optimization connected with the operations of the enterprise, which involves storehouse operation optimizing, load vehicles optimizing, etc. Finally, this paper analyzes the practical quality and realization techniques of the HANKYU application system that has been developed during the period of my work on this paper.
