Application Of Workflow Technology On Telecommunication Enterprise Office Automation System

The main idea of this paper including: the actuality of the workflow technology in the world; the OA critical business has been analyzed for GuiZhou Telecommunication Company; the workflow engines is analyzed and designed; the workflow management system is researched; the workflow engines have been applied in the OA system of GuiZhou Province Telecom.The workflow technology states is introduced in this paper, including its history, backgrounds, functions, features as well as operations on it. It has been analyzed that OA system features and enterprise critical business in the telecom enterprise.Workflow technology plays an important role in the development of OA system and enterprise critical business applications. According to the analysis of the requirements to develop critical business applications, in order to increase the lifecycle of the system and to reduce the project cost, this paper presents a framework of a relationship-based lightweight workflow engine, which is built over the conventional relational database system. This framework consists of four components, namely: workflow engine, data model, workflow model, workflow monitor and control. Thereinto workflow model, it includes three parts: organization model, information model and control model.The reasons that the concepts of relationship and lightweight are adopted to design the workflow engine are thoroughly discussed in the paper. Also, this paper sets forth the principle to design, the representation of and the way to implement the organization, information and control model of the workflow engine, respectively. A prototype of this workflow engine has been applied to a project about the automation of trademark registration and administration, which shows the application of the workflow engine, can markedly shorten the cycle of the development critical business applications.The emphases of the paper the system calls about OA and its applications in the lightweight workflow engine. Based on workplace application software development, independently design reusable parts, develop, object oriented design, achieve function structure. In the process of the application development based on work flow, some parts that can be reusable must be independently designed and developed. OOD method have been used to structure the system function. Aim at OA features, it is designed about the process class, nodes class, doc class, defines the relations and so on. It is also analyzed the process logic, ordering logic, offset logic, and merger logic.It is emphasized on the implement process of the general workflow producer, including the implement and definition of the abstract classes and concrete classes in the paper.It is also described about business modes, tools and condition of the system development in the paper.The main function of this system includes configuring workflow, managing log files, managing organization and duty commission. The workflows configure management includes process collocation, process management, process monitor and control, transaction processing. The organization management includes data organization, data personnel, and limits of authority controlled, customized GUIs.It is detailedly discussed about how to achieve the workflow drive core module and also expatiates the theory and the actual resolving. Be emphasized on discussing the application of the lightweight workflow engine in the OA of Guizhou Telecommunication Company in the paper.
