A Data Mining System Of Suzhou Water Supply Company Based On Statistic Technology

Data mining is a popular technology supporting for DSS. The application of statistics in data mining is one of the most popular researches and the development trend of data mining.Now days many enterprises have built their Management Information Systems, and now are planning D.M. Systems to support DSS. Therefore the data can be developed into researches for the enterprise, which can service for the business decision and policy.This paper studies the principles for the data mining, and mines the data from the information system of Suzhou Water Supply Company for building a scientific and efficient scheme of manufacturing and control. This paper also gives a design of a data mining model based on statistic principles. Following this model, the paper provides samples and produces the corresponding results and interprets. This procedure illustrates how to apply statistic model to data mining. At last, the author presents a framework of such a data mining application which relies on SAS technologies.We apply the statistic technology into the data mining in this project. It is a pioneer application in the field of the mature statistics theory and it is a popularization sample of the statistic technology applying to data mining.
