The Design And Implementation Of The Shen Zhen Education MAN

The education MAN project is a key project for "education information oriented" investment, which includes frame network, network center, basic network application, etc. In this thesis the design and implementation of an education WAN is presented. The major work includes frame network design, network center design, network management design, network security design, engineering organizing and implementing design. The leading characteristics of it are: frame network based on independent fiber resources; based on IP over fiber technical route; flexible network structure design, choosing alternative technical route according to the investment; clear connection and interconnection design, reducing the running burden and running cost; roundly designed network center, considering not only flexibility and reliability of network management, but also network security and keep-away measures at all levels, which make the system's structure well organized.As the principal of the project, the author directly participated in the project including system requirement investigation, systems analysis, systems solutions deign and project implementation. The final implementation of the project has mainly met the requirement of costumes. It provides a high-speed network infrastructure for more than 500 academic, mid and elementary schools in Shen Zhen city, achieves both economic and social benefits, and is a successes example for education WAN construction in our country.
