The Exploitation And Application Of The System Of Collection Resource Online Evaluation

Purpose:Dealed with the correlative data from GDLIS, developing the system of collection resource online evaluation with statistics method and database technology and analysing the state of the collection use and then submiting an analyse report on the collection of the library of FJTCM. The system can be used in collection rationalization construction and collection availability utilization.Method:The main applied method in this research:the Statistics Method and Database Program Design. Calculation of data--adopted the Statistics Method etc. Chart design and implementation--program with Delphi.Result:?Establish the System of Collection Resource Online Evaluation.?Submit an analyse report about the collection of the library of FJTCM.Conclusion: This system contains three modules: Utilization Analyse Module, Construction Analyse Module and Efficiency Analyse Module, and each module also contains 3 to 5 child modules. Data can be updated betimes through SQL Server, then collection resource can be evaluated dynamically and exactly with the evaluation system and the result can be expressed through table and chart. From the trial running in the library of FJTCM, we can find that the utilization, construction and efficiency of the collection of FJTCM'library have each advantage and maladjustment and we should adjust the resource structure.. The system can run in different kinds of database management system and be acomplementarity of the library management system.
