Broad band transmit net develops very fast. The first generation uses the shortwave(0.8μm-0.9μm) and multimode fiber, and the second generation uses long wave(1.3μm,1.5μm) and singlemode fiber. And now the third generation uses DWDM Fiber-communicating technic.Sichuan wide band transmission net optical fiber system is an important project of Sichuan Telecom. This thesis is based on the reform of the Sichuan wide band transmission net . The desinged wide band net is composed of five 80GB/S DWDM loop routes and one 80GB/S DWDM Chain route. This network coveres the all nodes of Sichuan province. In the thesis, the design of the related subsystems are also given. The designed system is implemented as an engineering project, and exhibts good performance.
