Fingerprint recognition techniques belongs to the realm of person biology. Because of the invariability and singularity of person's fingerprint, Fingerprint recognition techniques is the most developed identified techniques. Due to this safe recognition system, it can take the place of the password and certificate checking system. So fingerprint recognition techniques is of comprehensive and far-reaching significance.Fingerprint image processing is one of the most important steps, this paper founds a suit of integrated fingerprint image processing system constituted with the features of the fingerprint. And this system is built up by Java. Because Java has the characters of astriding the terrace, facing object, safty and stability etc. And this characters completely coincide to needs of fingerprint reconnigtion's timely processing. There are amount of noises in the collected fingerprint gray-scale images. But fingerprint recognition techniques at most degree depend on the quality of the finger print image. It is necessary to filter the fake information of fingerprint image. On the course of the pre-process of the fingerprint image, this paper makes use of some good methods and effectively gets rid of the most fake information. Although fingerprint image has taken great progress, the fingerprint ridge has not been completely developed. Therefore fingerprint binarization is usually performed, either combined with the enhancement step or following it. Fingerprint digital image binarization is the key techniques of fingerprint image processing. In this core, the filter based on the block orientations is the key of the cores. Fingerprint image is different from other images, because it has its own characters: its ridge possess of orientation and coincidence in a small range. This paper completely pay respect to the two characters in the ridge's binarization step. And in this paper, we using the information of the pixel's grads which in the fingerprint's digital image and propose an approach that we can confirm the block's orientation. Then we design a filter along the orientation. The filter can work well.The experiment proves: the system built up in this paper can attain the function of filtering the noises, enhancing the ridge. So it can apply to fingerprint recognition system and has a certain practical significance.
