The presence and development of field-bus has brought an involution in industry control field. With its digital, distributed, and open character, field-bus has been a hot issue in control field. The control system based on field-bus is replacing traditional control system, and represents the orientation of advanced control system.As one of the FCS standards, CAN field-bus is more highly reliable and low priced, and being used more and more extensively. SHCAN2000 Field-bus Control System adopts the CAN field-bus network structure, and its field control cell centralizes the advantages both of the traditional PLC and regulator.The intermittent process is widely adopted in industry production. Intermittent control itself has such character and difficulty as high control flexibility, flexible control strategy, multi-control model, both switch control and simulation control. It presents higher demand on control system. With the development of field-bus technology, there is a new solution of adopting FCS.This paper analyses the character and difficulty of intermittent control in the chemical industry production, introduces a kind of integration system of management and control based on the FIX and CAN field-bus. The hardware and software design and realization of SHCAN2000 system are also deeply discussed. According to the character of integration system of management and control, this paper presents the scheme of process controlling of CAN field-bus and Ethernet, and its realization adopted SHCAN2000.This LLDPE-CAT(Mg-Ti)- I field-bus control system has been successfully applied in Xiangyang Chemical Factory of Yingkou City. With its friendly and flexible c haracteristics t he sy stem h as b een e xcellently a nd e fficiently working under a stable condition. It vastly decreases labor work and highly betters product quality. The promising future of SHCAN2000 can be expected!...
