Microbrowser Researching And Designing Based On Wireless Application Protocol Standard

MicroBrowser is one of critical technology by wireless accessing Internet, which can access network at anytime and anywhere. MicroBrowser embedded mobile terminal parses and views the content of web pages to user. On the basis of analysis to the research and design of the MicroBrowser, this article present a tight and distinct MicroBrowser's designing and realizing scheme, which restrcitly conform to the standard of Wireless Application Protocol, furthermore, the scheme can adapat to the low main frequency and poor computation, limited storage capacity, small view screen and limited input device of mobile terminal.This article indicates the the background of Wireless Application Protocol and it's characteristics, offers a whole Wireless Application Protocol technology designing scheme according to it's struction and logical model. In the scheme, this article simply analyses the characteristics and functions of Wireless Application Protocol gateway, stressly sets forth the logical model and designing scheme of Wireless Application Environment which relates closely to the MicroBrowser. This article points out the relations between the Wireless Application Protocol gateway and MicroBrowser as well as demonstrates MicroBrowser's location and functions in Wireless Application Environment.In this article, a MicroBrowser design scheme for a kind of embedded mobile terminal used in the Wireless Application Environment under the Wireless Application Protocol technique has been presented. The design can be divided into four parts according to the functions: interface, executive, parser and view. General design and function moudle compartment of every part has been set forth, furthermore, the detailed design and concrete realization has been recited. In the process of realization, a series of technology innovations have been put up, especially, encapsulation technology used in the realization of the MicroBrowser has made the transplant of the Micro-browser into mobile terminal easily. Then, this MicroBrowser has been embed into the mobileterminal of the experiment, and the results show that this micro-browser can successfully parsers and views the web pages which have been dealt by the wireless application protocol gateway.
