The social managerial function is determined by the make-up factors and the social quality of the news propagation. Such function of the news propagation should not only be proved by theory, but also be used fully in reality.From the multiple perspectives of the study on propagation and the study on management, the paper, first of all, introduces the news propagation's history and its make-up factors. The paper, then, explains that the news propagation has social managerial function through theory and examples. Finally, on the basis of concerning on the nowadays reality and drawing lessons from other countries' experiences, the paper brings forward how this function should be fully used in our country in this day.
