The Design And Realization Of Content Manage System Of University News Network

Compared with professional news websites, college news network press releasing management shows a feature of more extensive user level, low level of expertise, unstrong timeliness, relatively smaller number of news articles and narrower range of audience characteristics. This paper, grasping South China University of Technology News network as the main object of study, analyses the college news network press releasing management and property, based on researching of using a more mainstream Web technologies to optimize the construction process, the news release management system of the site with a more complete function.Recent years, South China University of Technology News Network (Abbr.SCUTNN)sets up a three-tier structure of news gathering team, which is "news correspondent mainly based Party Propaganda Department, while the College and other secondary units subsidiary, supplemented by student reporter groups"reporters and editors operates according to authority level, through the corresponding news content management system.SCUTNN content management system currently running was put into use since 2006, has been functioning for six years.With the gradual expansion of the editorial team of Party Propaganda Department, together with continuesly growing campus news business, the current management system is no longer fit the developing needs of the campus network, in the daily operation, the current system exists a problem of the performance management system unstablely running, occasional system crashes ; single news column, the lack of flexibility in news categories; system maintenance over-reliance on professional and technical personnel and other serious drawbacks.To meet the content management needs of SCUTNN, the project intends to study constrcuting a content management system which possesses the following features: in line with university press management, owning a certain commonality to build the college news site, good usability,and effectively implement access control.After a detailed comparison, the projtct chose JAVA as the selection programming language to build content management system, the system uses the MVC design pattern combined with the J2EE component architecture layers model, to dynamicly manage the system content. J2EE technology combined with the MVC pattern, simplify the software development process, improve software performance and maintainability and scalability, achieved the target of software development to improve efficiency and enhanced software quality.Since May 2011, the System has been carried out testing, with its flexible workflow, a wide variety of functional modules and clear fast dynamic content publishing, has been highly recommended by the site managers and content providers. It was agreed that the system has five advantages: a broad application, security, stability, convenience and economical, and futhermore, the speed and quality of information dissemination of school news site have been greatly improved.
