Study And Realization Of System Of Virtual Reality For Web

Virtual reality for web will be more popular than traditional virtual reality. It can demostrate service or product of a enterprise completely and realisticly, and this owes to its three dimensional and multimedia style, which overwhelms the image and text information style. Enterprises can use virtual reality for web creating system to release and spread their service and product information on internet. It is a very important tool for enterprises to realize electronical commerce. This paper do a series of researching and developing work about virtual reality for web.Firstly, the author researches the born background of the virtual reality for web ,the performance and function demands of enterprises ,the developing direction of the virtual reality for web and its developing strategy and principles.Secondly, the key theories such as levels of detail and the storage data structure of the virtual reality for web are studied. Standards .which can realize virtual reality for web , are investigated and they are compared for their application in virtual reality for web. A prototype of a 3D virtual reality for web is developed. The system can read data from CAD system, and then converts them to VRML. The prototype has the key features of a virtual reality for web creating system.Finally, the author studies image based rendering technology, and develops a prototype of virtual reality based IBR. This prototype is developed for a land agent, which including outside environment virtual wandering system, house model virtual wandering system and inside environment virtual wandering. The process of realize each son system of the prototype is given in details. Some main son system of the prototype are working well in the land agent's web site, which bring many advantages to them.
