The Research Of Multimedia CAI Software Design

CAI, called computer-aided instruction, uses the computer as a tool to achieve teaching goals, and utilizes computer's ability to improve teaching effect and alleviate the teachers and students' heavy burden. During recent ten years more, CAI has been widely attractive and made active attempts in the education field. With the development of computer, multimedia and software developing technology, CAI has been a new subject in the modern education, the important issues in computer application and modern education technology research, and even the direction of future education development.The design and implementation technology of Multimedia CAI software is mainly studied in the thesis. Using these methods and technologies, the CAI software of "Computer Organization" is developed.Firstly, the elementary theories of CAI and multimedia is introduced, and the object-oriented ideas and design patterns is specified, then the graphic class's architecture of CPU model is designed in the principle of computer composing using the object-oriented programming methods and composite design patterns. Multithread and computer animation technology is illuminated, and the principle and method of implementing the animation using multithread technologies is clarified, furthermore the animation demonstration of the process of executing instructions is implemented in CPU models of Computer Organization.These theories and implementing technology is deeply discussed in the thesis, and in windows2000 platform, the lesson software is developed using Visual C++6.0 and MFC. The system includes the texts and graphics, and has friendly interface, and is operated easily, so it can be used for teaching and/or student self-learning and gained good teaching effect.
