A boiler is a primary equipment transforming a kind of energy into another, and the control system is not only complex but also essential, especially in the aspect of water-level control. The control system of boiler, which mostly adopts the PID algorithm, mainly includes position-control system, single-impulse system, double-impulse system and three-impulse system, and all of which either have the simple and lower-cost features without the character of controlling the false-water-level, or have the character of controlling the false-water-level with a complex and higher-cost system. In the process of industry producing, higher reliability and lower-cost are often required, as is same to the boiler's water-level control.In this paper, the author has intensively analyzed the dynamic features of water-level, the control methods and the Simulation Human Intelligent Control (HSIC) theory, and then put forward a new kind of control system, the single-impulse HSIC system, involving the advanced HSIC theory as well.Adopting the MATLAB software as simulation platform, the author has studied simulation algorithm for single-impulse HSIC system used in the field of boiler's water-level control. On the base of which, brought forward the HSIC algorithm which can be applied to the controlling of the boiler's false-water-level. Operational results show effectivity and reliability. The single-impulse Simulation Human Intelligent Controller based on the single-chip has been taken into practice. Because of the unity of the controller, the problem of lower ratio of performance and cost, existed in boiler's water-level control, has been solved. Higher ratio of performance and cost has been realized as well.
