Qualitative Simulation is the result of integration of artificial intelligence and the concepts of simulation in recent years which foundation is the qualitative model of the knowledge. With integration of the information that is collected from inside and outside of this system it leads to a reasonable mechanism. Each variable in the simulation is not only numerical value but also symbolized. The way to achieve the correct description of the system's behaviors is to resolve the qualitative mechanism. Because of the uncompleted information the qualitative mechanism will produce spurious and ambiguous behaviors. The more uncertain and complicated of the real system the more redundant behaviors the qualitative simulation will produce. How to reduce the numbers of the redundant behaviors effectively is the major topic of recent research of qualitative reasoning.This paper presents the basic content of qualitative simulation and theQSIM algorithm the quite maturated algorithm till now. On the basis of this algorithm introducing the fuzzy mathematics to deal with the uncertain information. The characteristic of the fuzzy mathematics is to research and dispose the uncertain phenomena that guarantee the easier of describing the behaviors of the physical system and ascertain getting the most possible value of the fuzzy parameters and the most possible behaviors of the system. The algorithm developed in this paper with integration of fuzzy mathematics is called FuSim (Fuzzy Qualitative Simulation). The fuzzy qualitative equations in the mechanism combined with the fuzzy qualitative parameter and the fuzzy symbol that is to describe the system with uncertain information. With fuzzy mathematics it can transit the qualitative knowledge of the system to quantitative ones and dispose them, finally transit the results to qualitative results. Reducing the redundant behaviors of the system and providing a effectual technically way for modeling and simulation of a complicated system which is the most outstanding characteristic of the FuSim.The software developed is based on a simple system including the fuzzy mathematics and quite reduce the redundant of behavior of the qualitative algorithm. It embodied the possibility of using fuzzy mathematics in the qualitative simulation and forecast some directions of future development of qualitative simulation. Providing a new direction for qualitative simulation developed in a wider scope and enablequalitative simulation to get a more freely space to develop.
