The author firstly gives a brief introduction to the history of morphology of mathematics and its current situation, later, from the aspect of morphology of dual value, lays special emphasis on various operations and properties including dilation, erosion, open operation and close operation etc. In addition, morphology analysis method of the dual value image is also discussed and the practical and improved operations of the four morphological image processing such as electric filter design, marginal pattern testing, skeleton withdrawal and image reconstruction are introduced. As for the two basic transformations –Dilation and Erosion—the author after giving the equivalent formulation of the set function, points out the operator of fuzzy Dilation and fuzzy Erosion, further a new morphology method is achieved. This new method combines the traits of fuzzy mathematics in dealing with inaccurate & incomplete data and the traits of morphology of mathematics in quantitative description of the structure of objects. It is very practical. Meanwhile some important values of the fuzzy operator is also discussed in the paper. To testify the effectiveness , we probe into the application of morphology of mathematics in the field of image electric filter, skeleton withdrawal and marginal testing etc. and apply it into Chinese Character Handwriting Recognition. In experiment, we discuss the processing of the Chinese Character Handwriting Recognition in detail. We finally draw a conclusion that this morphology of fuzzy mathematics has more advantages than the traditional one.
