A Study And Design For Water-Based Water-mist Fire Extinguishing Automatically System About Ship

It becomes more and more important for the safe transportation of ship with the developing of the global maritime transportation. It is indicated on the base of the investigation of SOLAS that the proportion of shipwreck accidents rooting in the ship's fire exploding is rising year after year from 1980s, and now it is up to 30 percent by 1 percent every year, and the annual loss of the ship tonnage is over 600,000 tons that is two times than that in 1960s. Specially in the engine room there are many incendive things, and it is easy to fire and the fact is so. It becomes the necessary part of the modern ship for auto-detecting and auto-spraying fire-extinguishing system. Now, the foreign and national departments of ship building and management are studying the auto-detecting and auto-spraying (water-mist) system of fire about the ship's main parts (engine room), and there are some foreign manufactories that have produced the relevant productions, but there are no similar productions in our contrary, so the study on the item (the designing and study of water-mist fire auto-extinguishing system) will supply a gap about national ship area fire, and it has high theoretic value and actual application significance.The MCU is main part of this system, and this system can detect automatically fire, show the place of fire and spray automatically water-mist. This system has two modes: automatic, manual. Under the automatic condition, when the system detect that there is fire happening, the system will turn off blower, switch on valve and pump, and extinguish the fire if no people deal with the fire in the set time after the audible and light. Under the manual condition, the operator can extinguish fire in the appointed area by the button in the main controlling panel or the manual button box (locale).This system is also applied to the land, for example, port, dock, factory, hotel and so on, and the effect is very good, every parameter is according with the ship technology after experiments many times, and the system is steady, credible, convenient, high ratio of capability to price.
