Fire is one of disaster with high occurrence rate and great damage.With the flame characteristics as the object, the thesis has designed a fire extinguishing system based on image processing.The system adopting the design scheme of the upper computer and the lower computer, has the function of flame detection, environment monitoring, information acquisition and self fire extinguishing.The main works of this thesis include:1. This research status of flame detection method and fire extinguishing technology at home and abroad are introduced, and the image pretreatment technology is analyzed.2. According to the dynamic characteristics and the color feature of flame, the flame identification algorithm with the self-learning ability based on the method of cumulative difference, the guide Independent components analysis and Bayesian classification method is designed in this paper. The clustering methodology of ant colony foraging and clustering with constraint spaces are used to get the position of flame area relative to camera.3. After the detection of flame, the hardware circuit is designed based on TMS320F2812, and the control program of Information collection module and motion control module are also designed. Using flame detection information as feedback condition, the self fire extinguishing function is achieved based on closed loop control strategy. A visible control interface is designed based on Microsoft Foundation Classes, so that users can operate the system easily.4. The experiments show that the system has good stability and reliability.
