The Research And Application Of Embedded Based On Windows CE

This paper studies and analyses application of embedded system with the really project , analyses difference and relation of embedded board support packages and BIOS of PC , compares and analyses popular embedded operating system at present, for example , Windows CE , embedded Linux , VxWorks , Palms , and so on. It discusses the basic development process of embedded system , and discuss the kernel features , structure of device driver , interrupt handle , real-time features , embedded support of the embedded operating system Windows CE. Based on the research of the performance, resource and exploit of the StromgARM CPU, general scheme of media control board of videophone based on embedded microprocessor StrongARM and emebedded operating system Windows CE is designed. It performs the customization of embedded operating system , and designs and develops the programs of system start-up , the driver of color LCD , standard RS232 serial port , serial mouse , Ethernet boot loader, and so on . Then this paper discusses function and structure of H. 324 videophone , and designs and realizes media control protocol H. 245, and realizes state machine of Signalling Entity , finally, it analyses wide prospect of application for the embedded system based on Windows CE.
