This paper focuses on some specific application to specific area in network security, and the new security gateway that has been developed to reinforce them. This new gateway employs a RADIUS client through effective programming. Then, it combines the Netfilter- packet filtering technology contained within the Linux kernel with this RADIUS Client, so the authentication, authorization, and access controlling for insider user to come and go from private networks to Intranet or Intranet to Internet may be realized by the RADIUS Gateway. This filtering technology may allow people to get the network's data packet from the kernel by programming with the User-space interface via Netfilter, and to then audit details of that data packet. An important offshoot of this flexibility is that more options for accounting become available to the user through RADIUS's accounting function. It is to be expected that with the implementation of this new gateway technology, centralization of accounting management will occur, and this in turn will lead to more efficient auditing and accounting practices for multiple users such as dial-in users and those accessing through a LAN network.
