| Under the question of the security transportation of information, this paper introduces the 3G mobile communication system gateway technologies. The important of network security and the technology of gateway are described later. 3G security gateway and AAA scheme are .our focus. This is a new way for 2. 5G to 3G.The function of 3G security gateway is designed in the paper. This gateway system has two parts, one is security access proxy, and the other is AAA scheme. The proxy server can compress the data and improve the speed of the access. In part of the AAA, the application of information encrypts and authentication about user's identity can resolve the above problem. The encrypt arithmetic is DES. We can adopt the system of safety gateway to information system while no complexity increasing.The design and achievement of every part of the system is discussed at last. It contains http agent, https agent, telnet agent, AAA function, and so on. The technology of encrypt, authentication and authorization is used in this gateway system. SSL is applied in the authentication process. The system is completed in the J2SDK development environment and uses the popular Java language.The most important is that the research of security gateway in the 3G background is very little. There has few paper and discuss by far. This research is novelty and special, so it can accelerate 2G to 3G.
