Temperature is an important parameter of power system. Most faults of the power system can cause the unusual rising of temperature at some key positions. On the other hand, high temperature can cause the drop of performance of system components, and even the damage of equipment of electric power system. These can seriously affect the normal work of the power system. It is very important to accurately measure the temperature of key positions inside power system in time. By this way, we can in time find and get rid of the potential faults of system. For high voltage power system, difficulties in monitoring temperature online lie in isolating the electric potential of transmission signal and obtaining the electric working power of temperature detecting device of high voltage. This paper firstly analyzes the method of transmitting signal between high and low voltage, and proposes a method, according to which, optic fiber is taken as signal transmission media, and signal is transmitted to low-voltage side in term of light. Then this article analyzes the way to obtain the power of measuring device. Also it recommends two kinds of feasible schemes of mutual inductance power and solar power, and proposes a power supply scheme that is called " the optic fiber supplying power" in the paper. The feasibility of this scheme is also analyzed here. And the main part of this scheme is also presented.After solving two common problems in of high-voltage system, this paper presents the design of online temperature monitoring device of high voltage system. The device has two parts, signal measurement and launching circuit of high voltage, signal receiving and dealing of the low-voltage. The article launches discussing of temperature measuring precision, as well as analyses possible error of the measurement circuit and method of eliminating error. Experimental data verifies this method. At last, signal processing circuit and software design is introduced in this paper.
