PC-Based Local Supervision And Control System Of Communication Power Supply

Combined with the electric and electronic technology,sensor technology,computer technology and network technology,the integrated supervision & control system of communication power supply has developed to be an intelligent supervision & control system. Considering the characteristic of communication power supply,computer technology is applied in the integrated supervision & control system of communication power supply that is an investigating hotspot in this field at present. In order to reducing the cost,improving the reliability,implementing full-scale and uninterrupted monitoring and control in real time,a new manner of local supervision & control is proposed on the basis of the investigation of supervision & control system of communication power supply in existence. This new manner of local supervision & control is that using a computer replaces the local supervision & control module by single-chip-computer and background data management system by a computer in the conventional supervision & control system of communication power supply. Namely it will accomplish data management and data acquisition & control.This paper mainly described how to accomplish this local supervision & control system of communication power supply in hardware and software. In hardware,this paper discussed stressly that how to accomplish local data acquisition and control withAdvantech data acquisition and control device-PCL-711B PC-MultiLab Card..PCL-711B Card offers many functions such as A/D conversion,D/A conversion,digital input and output and so on. In order to saving time,lightening the diffculty of programming,I take the programming method of driver level to control PCL-711B Card using Visual Basic6.0 language.In software,this paper programmed this local supervision & control system of communication power supply using Visual Basic6.0 language too. And deeply researched on how to fulfill the following functions:dynamic graph display of real-time data acquisition,historical data management (including save,demand,print,and deletehistorical data,painting historical trend curve),intelligent management of the storage cells,alarm and its management,system management,network communication and help system.This local supervision & control system of communication power supply has very friendly user interface and it has also more flexible and efficient performance and less expensive cost. These merits make the production factory be most willing to abandon the old manner of supervision & control. Therefore it has far-ranging application foreground. This local supervision & control system has succeeded in tryout in thefactory of Dongfang electric device of Lushun city.
