Intelligent Embedded System Of Tension Control Based On ISA Bus

In the making or treatment of a glass-steel product that required a high precision.tension control during winding influences the product's quality directly.Thus, the equipments of tension control is indispensable in this course. This paper originates an intelligent system of tension control based on ISA bus,which includes two parts of designs. Hardwares:1. Designment of control-card based on ISA2. Relevant measure electrocircuits of sensors Softwares:1. Program of the embeded system in the control-card2. Program of the PID control3. Program of the main control system in PC4. Program of the remote communication and diagnosisThis integrated system based on ISA has many strongpoints.when compared with single system.First of all, it integrated a whole computer system to an intelligent control-card, and so saved lots of hardwares.Secondly,all sorts of data such as every layer's parameter of tension control patameter of display and all history log are transmitted by ISA bus. The velocity and reliability are improved obviously. At one time, the developing environment of software is much better than ever.
