Research And Application Based On CORBA

With the development of computer application,software application has enter into many fields in our society. Therefore,improving the efficiency of developing software became an important task for all programmers.Software reuse and development with components have become an essential factor in software engineering.The middleware is justly designed to resolve such problems.Object Request Broker(ORB) is the best one of middlewares,which can supply enough ability to fulfill various applications. It inosculated distributed system and Object Oriented technology and is a representation of new generation middleware. CORBA which is written by OMG that consists of about 300 companies in the world has the preferable performance in compatibility and expansibility.This dissertation mainly discussed the basic systematic framework,composing, service and inplementation according to CORBA 3.0 . Besides, there is a specific example about caculating charge of telecom in order to demonstrate the function of application of ORB technology.This paper include the following chapters:In first chapter,it mainly introduces the classifying and application of middlewares.In second chapter,it introduces the systematic framework and the basic running way of ORB technology ,including the specification of IDL theory.In third chapter, it illuminates the inplementation technology which comprises the application of Basic Object Adapter (BOA), Portable Object Adapter(POA) and communication model of CORBA.In forth chapter,it illuminates the services of CORBA,include naming service,event service,notifying service,transaction service and so on.It also illuminates the security in CORBA services and differences between COM/DCOM and CORBA.In fifth chapter,it gives an example which is a module of the telecom charging system with CORBA technology .
