Digital Image Recognition Applied In Testing & Control System

According to scientific research and statistics, 75 percent of knowledge gotten from outside are given by images. With the development of computer and software, it becomes possible for digital image processing and transfers in real-time. New analysis and processing theories such as wavelet transf orm occur never interrupted, which make the content of the digital image process get more and more abundance. Ali of these factors above make digital image processing much important in testing & control system.In the course of industry automatization, digital image recognition technology is one of the best methods to implement manufacture quality watching-control and fault diagnostic, the key of which is the model recognition and character picking-up of the testing & control led object. In this paper , combined them , automat ic recognize was accomplished successfully through on the image fromGCD. And it's also the mainly researching content in this paper. During the recognition, some new methods and new technology were attempted besides the traditional model recognition theory, and some new opinion has been come out.A set of software system was developed, with the use of digital image processing by VB 6. 0, which can get character model, then carry through cluster analysis, and realize auto-test and recognition at last. The main work includes: the research and conments about some recognition methods; the research and comments about three kind of mathematics morphologic arithmetic; clustering; MATLAB embedded in the VB; the difference analysis in the dynamic image and so on. In the practice applications, train wheel hoof were as the processing object, and satisfactory result was gained in the static state, at the same time analysis and comments have been done about the existing questions.The paper is about the researches for application. Ali of the applicative software and the attempts for new methods were expected to get more useful things, and may these can be some referenced values in engineering applications and practices.
