Design And Implementation Of Remote Report System Based On XML

This paper introduces in detail the design idea and the method of realization of a report form system based on XML. Meanwhile it realizes the long-distance report form system between subcompany and parent company of Dalian international cooperation company.Based on the full understanding of the process of Dalian international work and the characters of the enterprise's report forms, the long-distance report form system is designed. This system adopts advanced three-stored-frame design. Its intranet application module whose technical methods is ASP+XML+XSL realizes the automatization of the form-making, management and information management among the company.Through internet application module the long-distance subcompany can fill in and inquire the forms online and can operate offline. Thus the work efficiency of the companies is improved greatly, the cost is also saved effectively.During the realization of a system XML and the relevant techniques are fit for the transportation of data. They resolve the problems such as the losing and excess of data, which often occur before during the transportation of complex data. The four main characters of XML are good store format of data, extensibility, high structurization and easy net transportation. These characters decide its outstanding performance. XML can be used greatly in different fields such as e-commerce, government documents, report forms, publication and data exchange. According to the varied systems XML can provide special and independent schemes.
