A Study Of Asp/jsp Technology & Web Application System Development

With the rapid development of Internet and Global Information System, the web application has entered into Enterprise Computing model which requires more complexity and activity.Pure static web pages cannot satisfy the requirements of users and developers any more, while the active web pages which alternate their contents based on data changes in Database have become major trend in web page design. For these reasons, many technologies for developing web application system arise and develop rapidly, and how to choose an appropriate platform and developing environment has become a key factor in developing web application system.This paper makes a deep research, analysis and comparison on web application development technologies, especially on ASP (Active Server Pages)/JSP (Java Server Pages) technology. Based on Distributed Computing theory, using ASP technology combining with COM (component object module) technology, author implemented three projects: the Talent Site between China and America (CHINAEJOBS), the Storage Management System of Baoji Oil Steel Pipe Factory and the outer WEB Application System of Xi' An Aero Engine Group, which have been devoted into practical application.
