There is a paradox during the process of building enterprise information system, that is, how to build a high quality application as soon as possible. igh quality?means that an application should not only meet user s requirements but also adapt to requirement changes and new computing environments e.g. Internet. The application must be extendable, reusable and maintainable.To solve this problem, there are three factors we should take into account:system architecture, component technology and developing method. This thesis introduces the distributed application architecture Windows DNA and its coreomponents. In addition, UML and Design Pattern are introduced as background knowledge. At last, a system modeling method is put forward and exemplified by QX3S system, which shows how to apply new architecture, components and design pattern to build a high quality enterprise information system.
