The subject roots in the cooperative project with IDNUO software technology company(ChangZhou). With the Master Production Schedule (MPS) subsystem of the manufacturing management system as the background, the thesis brings forward a new system development solution based on components and reusable framework to solve software problems in reusability, replantation and expansibility.The MPS system requirements analysis and the design of database are completed with UML modeling technology, which inosculates the system's requirement analysis process and the component-based software development process and pave way for the abstract, development and assembly of components. Then the thesis divides the business layer in the typical three-tier architecture into another three sublayers that are the data express layer, data access logic layer and business rule layer, and a framework that is more explicit and easier to develop and reuse is constructed. In this framework, the design strategy and method of components in diverse layers are given to complete their corresponding functions. Finally the development, assembly and deploy of components in every layer are finished with COM/MTS/COM+ model to make the whole system run smoothly in the client end.In conclusion, the application of component technology in N-tier distributed system development realizes software reusage idea and avoids repetitive coding phenomena. The separation between interface and implement makes system maintenance and replantation much easier.
