This paper discusses and researches the application of computer simulation technology in open-pit mining and transportation system deeply. According to the characters, which is complex and difficult to describe by math method, of large surface mine mining and transportation system, taking transport equipment as main active entities, the discrete system model of the event scheduling(ES) is established and dynamic simulation software is developed. Using this software , all kinds of possible develop transport planning of Lan-Ying-Xu joint stope are made systematical simulative experiments and systematical analogy, which offered digital decision-making basis for the final optimizing planning. During this research, the practical produce data is been measured in order to get probability distribute function and index of all kinds of mining and transportation sections for random simulation. The discrete system model of ES ,which is completed on base of those practical produce data, constructs a new intelligent transport simulation system through creating path information database of practical development system structure. The simulation system can automatic complete the simulation on basis of dispatch method, to all kinds of transport plan made up of multi-load-unload place and multi-transport path. In aspect of system function, the software change the traditional method which applies matrix means to save entities message to use database management technology to process data exchange during the simulation, and because of applying data manipulate language (DML) in simulation program, the speed of run is much faster. The system adding a new database interface, which made it more general than in the past, user can build and access different mine databases to simulate it transport system. It make use of the advance object-oriented language Visual Basic toprogram railway transport simulation system. The system have been tested,it shows that it has rapid search speed and much higher reliability ofsimulation. It suit to testify mine's transport ability and settle equipmentmatch relation, and optimize transportation system and all so.Full Considering different mines transport condition, the simulationsystem has more general application. The study resu1t may have referencesignificance to the future research of railway trafisport system.
