This paper has studied the modeling language of Object Oriented UML and component technology, then given a effective method to develop the special domain component software (Expert System) base on UML, mostly resolved the following issue: The first is the Expert System's develop of Anhui province "9.5" key project "Agricultural Atomospheric Disasters Menuration and Evaluation System Based on GIS" Applied UML's visual modeling technology to carry on Object Oriented Requirement analysis, system design ,structure design, and testing ,this is a interactive increment process, realized a effective ,hign reliable and extendable system, it fulfilled 78 counties of Anhui province's drought, waterlog and frost disaster etc. those dynamic Mensuration and evaluation, the system's function is advanced in our country. Second is National "863" project "Component for Direction Crop Plant and Managing Based on Weather Analysis" it's design and realize, we applied component and UML modeling technology, according to the unified requirement of agriculture Expert System's developing environment, followed the model and protocol of COM/ActiveX , to realize the special domain component's analysis and component's design and develop, component integration and system test, finish the Plant and Managing component of JiangHuai area's winter wheat, paddy and cole etc. the components have good reusable, mutual manipulated and encapsulation and extendable. The third is Anhui province key project "The research and practice of component technology software of special domain (Expert System) based on UML, inheritance we have discussed the academic foundation of UML, the mathematical model of Object Oriented technology, and deeply study the model building blocks and diagram description, and give a formal description of component model, then. on the research of special domain(Expert System) components requirement analysis and design, put forward a valid practical process to develop application software system based on UML and component technology.
