This paper introduces a Operation Maintenance Management Platform (OMMP)system of integration node exchanger STM portion, and describes the design of its OMMP circuit board. The OMMP board is mainly responsible for the STM network management . This paper discusses its functions and working principles in detail, including the PCB design, FPGA design and software design. The application of the chipset for 1 OM ethernet adaptation and, is also mentioned in this paper. To make it more understandable, the paper refers to the basic concepts of TCP/IP protocol at the beginning too.The primary work as follows:1 .The circuit board design of the OMMP systemStudy some relevant document and decide the design options. Then design circuit simplified schematic. Field Programmable Gates Array (FPGA) designed by MAXPLUS II for the digital logic of the OMMP circuit board.2.The debugging software design of the OMMP systemDesign corresponding debugging software for primary circuit model block. And debug circuit model block to justify the OMMP circuit simplified schematic. These debugging software always passed test.3.The Firmware &Driver design of the OMMP systemDecide the communication protocol between OMMP system and master control system. Accomplish the communication software design.
