Based on the fuzzy reliability theory, this theme makes a fuzzy reliability analysis of the sugarcane crusher system and the fuzzy reliability-optimization design of the crusher roller. Applying the reliability method of Failure Mode Effect Fuzzy Analysis (FMEFA), the theme makes a fuzzy evaluation analysis for the possible failure modes, failure causes and failure effects in crusher system, and sort the criticality of failures. Some corresponding measures for improvement have been put forward to promote the reliability of system and to reduce the possibility of system breakdown as far as possible. And based on this analysis, the system reliability has been allocated to parts of the system and sub-system reasonably, which has provided the fuzzy reliability-optimization design of crusher roller with proper reliability. According to the design requirements and the working condition, a reliability study on crush rollers is developed with the application of fuzzy mathematics, establishes a proper mathematics model, and changes fuzzy-optimization model into routine-optimization model, then the optimization programs are designed and the optimal design results obtained by calculating.
