Modern people are becoming more and more dependent on computers in their daily lives. Most industries, from automobile, avionics, oil and telecommunications to banking, stocks and pharmaceuticals, require computers to function. As the tasks required become more complex, the complexity of computer software and hardware has increased dramatically. As a consequence, the possibility of failure increases. As the requirements for and dependence on computers increases, the possibility of crises caused by computer failures also increases. In complex software systems, reliability is the most important aspect of software quality. Software reliability engineering is becoming a standard, widespread practice applicable to the different phases of the software development process.In this paper, failure data in the test phase of the software system are collected, which changes a C language source program into structure flowchart. Failure data haven been collected happened in the integration testing phase, and failure data in the unit testing phase are not collected. Finally, I establish a software reliability model based on the software system by analyzing these failure data. To begin with, this paper introduces the art of the state and the development in the research field of software reliability. The basic concepts related to software reliability and software reliability models are discussed. Then the mathematical knowledge used in the research field of software reliability is enumerated. Thirdly, I take on the comparative research on the existing software reliability models in this paper. Finally, according to the sample, I establish a software reliability model and introduce a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for software reliability.
