Based on a kind of radar signal processor, two aspects are mainly discussed: the first, m the case of uniform PRF, improvement factors are simulated on transversal filters with different orders in environments with single land clutter, single weather clutter or with both of them, in the process of which the weight vectors are acquired through eigenvector algorithm. The seco4 in the case of staggered PRF, wives of velocity response with different staggering ratios are simulated on transversal filters with different orders, in the process of which the ei~uality of second-order time- vartng cascaded filter to tinie-varing non-cascaded filter, phase modification technique are investigated. Also in this paper, the statistic characteiistics of clutter, tire commonly used radar clutter rejection techniques and the PSD estimation algorithms are discussed, including the comparison of computation of some of the algorithms. With Burg algorithm, the computer simulation of PSD estimation is done. Finally the implementation of that kind of radar signal processor is addressed in detail, involving its principles, logic block diagrams and FPGA devices.
