| With reference to discourse linguistics, semiology and ceommunication theory,the thesis tries to hew out a path of research at the edge of TV-news journalism and linguistics. Following is the research method used in the thesis: structure analysis and function analysis of linguistics and semiology; empiricism and criticism in communication theory; induction and deduction in logic.The thesis interprets the structure and function of TV-news discourse in linguistics and semiology, tries to disclose its course of generation and comprehension and its influence on the audience as the central descourse of the society. The thesis puts forward the following views: discourse analysis can be used to interpret not only the linguistic text, but also the symbolic text; owing to the specifically modality of time, speech and image in TV-news grip and occlude each other tightly like two sawteeth, and thus create a particular discourse; its linguistic text has the peculiarities at its three stages in the course of generation; the technique of comprehending TV-news discourse is the tactical ultilization of models; both its generation and comprehension lead to a result: the central discourse is established and the audience ideology approaches the central discourse of the society day by day. |
