The development of narratology is from classical narratology theory to post-narratology theory. Movies and news narration becomes the study subject, and focus on how ideology, individual mental and social cognition influence the acceptance of works. The framework of the narratology theory provides a comprehensive and scientific perspective for the study of TV news narration and clearly describes the structure gradation and rhythm on news texts.The chief producer of American CBS "60 minutes" Don Hewitt suggests that Packaging News as Hollywood packaging novel, this concept has been viewed as the golden laws of investigation report. From the perspective of narration, the concept is an excellent metaphor of narrative strategy of TV investigation report.The linear narration, the integrity of the plot development and vivid visual language expression has been used as the methods of TV investigation report. However, the narration of the real events news will be affected by ideology, organization system and interest groups especially in China. Such as" investigative journalism" such a so-called focus on investigating reports column, half of the programs are the theme reports.The study’s object of this paper "who moved my privacy" is a topic full of investigative potential, however, the reporter chose the perspective of theme report. Why to choose this way? This paper will analyze the discourse of texts narration on subject structure, the rhetoric use of the lens language and the narrative gradation of reporter on TV. The paper will also analyze the narrative discourse of texts and find the reason of turning investigative report into theme report. And as a conclusion, the paper is trying to illustrate the advantage of the discourse of investigative report.
