This paper discussed the general ways to improve the measurement precision of sensorsat different stages of measurement based on the model syStem sensors. The firSt part in the paper analyzes the effects of fonvard-biased circuits on measurementprecision with emphasis on the applicaion methods of filtering waves, collecting signalsand making im transformations during the signal transmission of sensors. The second part, taking temperature sensors and CO gas sensors for instance, analyzes two common factorsaffecting measurement precision of sensors in detail----the linearity of a sensor's outpUt andthe temPerature compensation. Unlike conventional mathods, a new aPproach is adopted inthis part, tha is, the sensor itself is regarded as influencing factors on the basis of a deepunderstanding of sensor's properties. The third part deals with the transformation of aphysical quantity hard to measure at all or with high precision into that easy to measurewith high precision. In this paPer the voltage signal is transformed into the frequency signafOr easy measurement. Such transformation can lcad to a grca improvement inmeasurement precision. Detailed descriptions are given of high-precision measurementmethods of frequency signals as well as of some other frequency-control techniquescontributing to high-precision frequency measurement.
