The Study Of The Autonomous Enrollment System Of Higher Education Under The Education Fairness's Background

Since it was executed by the ministry of education in 2003,the autonomous enrollment system of higher education has been developing for almost 8 years. There are 80 universities who have had the right to decide their own. And why we can get this result is because most of the people hate the college entrance examination system. But when people were happy that the universities have had their own rights, a great number of problems have arisen from the autonomous enrollment system of higher education. Whether the autonomous enrollment system is better than the college entrance examination system? And numbers of people restart to say the college entrance examination system is better than the autonomous enrollment system, for the college entrance examination is the fairest one in current society, so we shouldn't give up the college entrance examination. But if we think about the question rationally, the problems encountered in the executed process of the autonomous enrollment system, such as the fairness can't be guaranteed, the honesty and credit of the examinee and the universities can't enroll the right students, are because the social environment can't suit the system.The real autonomous enrollment system can not only guarantee the fairness, but also make all the students develop better.According to the history of the university admission system of higher education, we can see that the system was controlled by the state step by step. That is because of the unstable political environment and the backwardness of the economic level.But in the 21st century, our country has become a great power, if we still give priority to efficiency with due consideration to fairness, and use this old way of thinking directs our education that is not suitable. The first factor the great power is that we need to improve the overall quality of the entire people of the nation. And if we want to improve the overall quality of the entire people of the nation, we must develop our education. How to develop the education? In contemporary society, the first thing is that we must change the examination-oriented education system. And the reason of the examination-oriented education is the college enrollment system. Only by changing this system can the education consummate personality by its own nature. Although the current college enrollment system guarantees the fairness of society, it neglects the development of people. To the contrary, the autonomous enrollment system can decide the standard of admission, the student intake, the students who can enter and so on; this system can make the student have a happy purposeful life. Without the unified examinations, the middle and elementary school can execute the Quality Education. And the college students can make good use of their time to improve themselves and develop their interests.The problems when we execute the autonomous enrollment system of higher education are because the social environment shows lack of maturity. Such as the universities pay high but earn low efficiency, the colleges can't admit the right students, and there is some molestation when the university decides to admit the students. These problems make some scholars think that the autonomous enrollment system isn't a good choice to instead of the old system. In this paper, we will point that the problems which showed in practice were caused by the environment of current society. Nowadays, most of the scholars have approved that the autonomous enrollment system is the more reasonable system. So the most important thing is to achieve this system rather than discussing what problems can this system make. If we want to make this system come true, we must carry out three conditions:the first one is that we must insist the right educational ideas; the second one is that we need to execute the Quality Education at each stage of the education; the third one is that we need to perfect the social environment.This dissertation consists of four parts:one introduction and three chapters of main text. In the introduction, the paper introduced why I want to study the system, the current research, some key concepts and the ways I use to study. Then, in the first part, the paper analyses the history of the student recruitment system, and discusses whether the college enrollment system is fair or not. After this analysis, we can see that the orientation of the college enrollment system reform is the autonomous enrollment system. In chapter two, the paper will talk about the problems in the current autonomous enrollment system and why there are so many problems. In chapter three, the paper will discuss the direction of the autonomous enrollment system, and gives the periodical target and the ultimate target. In the ultimate target, we will see that the problems of the autonomous enrollment system are not because of itself, but because of the social environment. So we need to improve the education system, to establish moral education, to perfect the credit mechanism and supervision mechanism. And then, the autonomous enrollment system of higher education can exploit its advantages to the full.
