Opportunity And Challenge: A Study Of The Female College Graduates Self-employed

After enlarging enrollment in 1999, the number of college graduates had been increasing rapidly which lead to the employment pressure rising continually.Female college graduates as a special community of employment group,their self-employment are affected greatly by traditional sexual ideas.The government in order to alleviate the employment pressure,encouraging college students doing self-employment.Some female college graduates respond the state's appeal,they take the initiative to choose the road of self-employment.The government's support for female college graduates is an opportunity,but they also face enormous challenges during innovation.It hinders the course of the female college graduates doing self-employment and takes negative influence to their self-realization and self-development,and also affects the healthy running and coordinate development of our society.Therefore the analysis of the female college graduates'self-employment has important practical and theoretical significance.The author attempt to investigate the female college graduates'self-employment in Zheng Zhou which used to analyze the problem of the female college graduates' self-employment.This thesis basis the datas what come from questionnaire and case study,investigating the status of the female college graduates'self-employment,and using social gender theory and social network theory to study the influencing factors.The author thinks that the female college graduates'self-employment has the follow basic characteristics:the early stage's planning is idealization,the mainly form is individual management,the rang of self-employment focus on the tertiary industry and so on. Moreover,society,government,school,family and the self of female college graduates are forming the social network which provides the social capital to doing self-employment.Because of the composition exist issues,forcing they confront opportunity and challenge. Consequently,according to the analysis of the five composition affect the female college graduates'self-employment,putting forward the counter measures and suggestions about how to promote it.They are including constructing the perfect subjective support network,constructing the sound policy support network and constructing the system educational support network, so as to assist the female college graduates to get rid of the employment pressure.This paper is written surrounding the female college graduates doing self-employment closely,outstanding the subject of study.It adopt the materials are analysis quantitative study and qualitative study combined. Furthermore,this paper systematically discussed the status,the factors and the counter measures and suggestions of the female college graduates' self-employment. And the research results has important practical and theoretical significance to guide the practice.In the meantime the author also want this study provide some new train of thought in the perspective of the social gender theory and social support network theory to study this issue.
