The Research Of The Implementation Of High School Career Guidance

As long as the popularization of the compulsory education, students are faced with their first career choice, which is the most important one, when they graduate from the high school. The result of this choice will affect their future career development directly. However, in the real time, through the research, which is targeted to Chengdu XX High School, students fill their aspiration rashly, and cannot point the direction of their future development clearly. The students and their parents think the objective and motive of Chinese high school students are very simple:going to universities. The research, taken in XX University, indicates that because of the rashness of filling the aspiration, students will not have new objective and motive when they are recruited by universities. The reasons are, the loss of scientific career target and career plan, the loss of study motive and self position, and feel mixed-up about the career choice as long as the big change of recruitment policy. In order to resolve these problems, the author think that the high school career guidance should be reinforced. On the basic of comparing both native and foreign career guidance theories, the development and the real fact, and the way of implementation, this article has evaluated and analyzed several aspects, which are the current situation and problems of high school career guidance, the relative theories, the mission and details of career guidance. Besides, the author has interviewed several teachers from XX High School with the question of high school career guidance. Further more, the essay has evaluated the current situation of high school career guidance support system, and has set the way of implementing high school career guidance. It is hoped that the essay could attract people's attention to high school career guidance, help students to plan their career developments scientifically, and lead them to make clear objective for their future life.
