Analysis On Professional Ethics Education Of Students In Higher Vocational Colleges Under The Work-study Combination Mode

With the deepening of country's reform and opening-up, the fast development of socialist market economy, and the increasing industry competition, every profession and trade made higher demands for the talent quality. The employed person should have not only solid professional knowledge and skillful professional skill, but also good professional ethics cultivation.《vocational education law》requires:" the implement of vocational education needs to carry out state's educational principles, teach the students ideology and politics, impart vocational knowledge, cultivate vocational skill, conduct vocational guidance and improve the quality of the students completely." Therefore, the professional ethics education is an important education content in vocational schools, the complete improvement of the students'quality can be promoted only by strengthening the professional ethics education. Our country is being in the social transition period, the moral ideas and value orientation of people assume the multiplex, plus negative factors such as the self-utilitarian of market economy, so the professional ethics education is influenced greatly. Therefore, teaching the students professional ethics and improving their professional ethics level are the current important project of vocational colleges. The second article in No.[2004]16 file issued by Ministry of Education points out:" strengthening the quality education, consolidating professional ethics, confirming education goal, sticking to the idea of human-orientation and cultivation-orientation, taking the idea of establishing fine ideology moralities and building a man as the fundamental task." No.[2004] 16 file jointly issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council and No.[2005]35 file issued by the State Council emphasize that education in ideology and politics should be further enhanced and the key value system of socialism should be infused into the whole process of the talent cultivation of higher vocation education; the professional ethics and legal education of the students should be highly valued, the cultivation of the students' honest quality, professional dedication, sense of responsibility and sense of observing law and discipline should be valued, for producing a group of high-quality and skillful people.Work-study combination is paid to more and more attention in the field of vocational education. On October 17,1991,《decision to advance vocational education》given by the State Council first proposed:" production-education combination and work-study combination", and then repeatedly emphasized to change the talent cultivation mode focusing on school and classroom, vigorously promote work-study combination and half-work and half-study system, and take work-study combination as the important entry point of reformation of the talent cultivation mode of higher vocational education. The practicality of higher vocational education and professional feature of professional ethics decide that the professional ethics education should be closely associated with social and the working environment of enterprise, so the work-study combination is the best mode of professional ethics education.By document searching and positive analysis, the article summarizes the importance and necessity of professional ethics education of higher vocational colleges, and its advantage and existing problems, at last, preliminarily analyzes the way and method of professional ethics education of professional students under the work-study combination mode.The article is divided into four parts:The first part proposes the importance and necessity of professional ethics education of higher vocational colleges under the work-study combination mode, clarifies that the vocational colleges in our country have the important mission of cultivating qualified worker and highly skilled personnel for the society, points out the professional ethics education of professional students is the objective requirement of the socialism market economy development, the necessary requirement of improving qualities of the professional students and the objective demands of obtaining employment and becoming a useful person.The second part analyzes the advantage of the professional ethics education of professional students under the work-study combination mode. The work-study combination mode provides occupational environment for the cultivation of professional ethics of professional students, benefits the cultivation and formation of professional moral quality, more conforms to feature requirement of professional education, helps to extrude the subjectivity of education and realize the unity of knowing and doing.The third part analyzes the existing problems of professional ethics education under the work-study combination at present. l.The position of professional ethics education is low, and the teacher resource is weak; 2.The concept of correctly understanding the professional ethics education is not established completely; 3.The content of professional ethics education neglects professional feature, and teaching method is single; 4.Evaluation way of the professional ethics education is unsuitable; 5.The school and enterprise lack of effective cooperation; 6.The education difficulty is increased. Under the work-study combination, the complex social environment causes positive and negative guiding effects to the though, minds and conducts of the students, the uncertainties which influence the though and conducts of the students are increased greatly; the dispersion of the main part of the students causes the enhanced difference among time interleaving, cultural background and the way of ideological and political education, which brings a certain impact to primary centralized management mode of school.The fourth part proposes ways and methods of professional ethics education in work-study combination mode.1. Changing idea for showing "competency based" of professional ethics education; 2.putting emphasis on educating students through practice; 3.developing connotation of professional ethics education; 4.forming education interactive mode of cooperation between school and enterprise; 5.improving own professional ethics quality of teacher; 6.setting up and developing professional ethics education system of professional students. Teaching in vocational college for 14 years, the writer knows professional ethics education situation of the professional students in the work-study combination mode clearly, which is good for writing this book. Because of own immediate feeling and experience, writer thinks that employees with noble professional ethics extremely meet each present employer and whole society, so it is necessary and urgent to pay more attention and strengthen professional ethics education of the professional students. And the work-study combination mode just provides excellent chance for the professional ethics education. Then it is very significant for studying the professional ethics education of the professional students in work-study combination mode.
