The Research About Current Situation And Developing Forecast Of College Golf Major Education In China

With the development of golf, professionals specialized in golf are greatly needed by the sociality, and there is a big gap between the need and the supply, so it is necessary to open golf professional education in college level. College golf professional education has been appeared for 15 years since the first golf department was build in Shenzhen University in 1995. Although big improvement has been achieved, there are lots of problems in the area of college golf professional education, by methods of literature consultation, comparative study, expert interviews, field survey method and other methods, this thesis found some problems as following: Most golf schools or departments are running with poor teaching equipment and without practice area; the curriculum is not reasonable; subject property is under confusion; there is no union or unique textbook, no specialized teacher;high tuition fees block many students from golf education, and so on. These aspects have hampered China's development of college golf professional education, leading to uneven levels of education in different colleges and universities.By the status quo analysis of golf education, this thesis try to make some reasonable recommendations and provide some theoretical basis as hereby reference to the Chinese colleges and universities aimed at golf professional education. In the aspect of field-building, college or universities could reduce the construction conditions, or absorb investment appropriately to make their own course or driving range; in the aspect of teacher's development, I give the proposal to strengthen the cooperation between the university or learn abroad to change the teachers status of weak specialty; in the aspect of course and textbook settings, by the way of combination, all experts together study and formulate a unified national standard curriculum, and improve the curriculum system, the subject building, etc., to solve the problems in this regard; establish a practitioner skills Certificate Examination system, to ensure the students being employed. Thanks to the experience of learning and working in Shandong Nanshan University Golf academy and Hunan Shewai university golf department, the author could have some real experience and do some research here. In short, this thesis summarized the current situation and the development of higher golf education; found that the development of golf is the main driving force for golf education, besides the course construction, professional training of china golf association and golf researches also play an impotent improving role. According to conclusion above, this thesis made some countermeasures and gave some suggestions to the golf educators; finally forecast the prospects of its development in the future.
