The Current Status Study Of The Mass Golf Participants In Beijing

Golf has its ill-fated development in China. On one hand, golf is under great pressure from the policies due to its massive usage of land and water. Also golf is called the "noble sport" because of its high expenses. On the other hand, Chinese competitive golf has achieved great successes in the international arena, and has gained lots of attention from the government after golf was included in the 2016 Olympic Games.Along with China’s 30 years’economic development, golf is becoming more and more popular in China after its first club was founded in 1984. In Beijing, the national capital and international metropolis, golf has a relatively idealized and specified development. Therefore, take the golf-participated population in Beijing for study, we can know of the current situation among Beijing’s golf population. Also, we can provide some valuable experiences and theoretical supports for golf s further popularity in China.This paper uses research methods like literature method, questionnaire survey method, expert interview method and mathematical statistics method. After reading papers, books, newspapers and other relevant information about golf and social sports, conducting interviews with relevant experts and scholars, and issuing, collecting and analyzing the questionnaires from several golf clubs in Beijing, This paper draws the following conclusions:1. Beijing golf group includs male staff of enterprises and individual business owners, aging from 30 to 59, with high education and high income.2. Beijing golf group has a high court frequencey and a high practice field frequency. The average court expense is under 1000yuan and the average practice field expense is under 100yuan.3. Beijing golf group wants to be couched by someone with great skills and many experiences. But the present practice field couches’abilities are uneven, the overall level is low.4. Beijing golf group takes golf as an elegant hobby and a networking tool for its entertainment function and its social function.5. The positive influencial factors are influences from work, friends and families.6. The negative factors are busy work and little leisure time.
